Array Selects Jeffrey Drucker, AIA to head Newly-opened New York City Office
NEW YORK (May 22, 2008) – Array Healthcare Facilities Solutions, consistently ranked as one of the top national healthcare design firms, recently announced the opening of a new office in Manhattan, located in the Flatiron district at 60 Madison Avenue.
Array’s Northeast Regional practice, located in New York City, was established to provide local support to clients in the metropolitan New York Region and its surrounding areas. “We leverage our firm on the ability to provide national expertise with local knowledge and responsiveness. To most appropriately support our clients in the region, we needed an office with personnel experienced in navigating the dynamic New York construction market. We are very excited to be a part of helping our clients raise the bar in healthcare facilities in one of our nation’s greatest cities,” said Array President Carl Davis.
Current work in the New York metropolitan region includes a 135,000 square foot Psychiatric Hospital for Zucker-Hillside Hospital, a North Shore Long Island Jewish affiliate; Obstetrics and Emergency Department projects at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, NJ as well as multiple projects for the Saint Barnabas Health Care System throughout North and Central New Jersey. In addition, Array was recently named a preferred A&E provider for the Veterans Administration’s New York, Northern New Jersey, and Hudson Valley region, currently designing several projects at the Manhattan, Brooklyn, Northport and Lyons facilities.
The unique aspects of the New York metropolitan healthcare and construction market demanded a team with extensive knowledge and experience in the region. Recognizing this, Array tapped Jeffrey P. Drucker, AIA, an accomplished Architect and planner with extensive experience in healthcare design to head the NY office as VP of the Northeast Regional Practice. Mr. Drucker brings diverse experience and a consistent management style to lead Array's New York office and promote and execute the firm's healthcare architecture initiatives. Prior to joining the firm, his previous work includes major projects at NYU Downtown Hospital, Staten Island University Hospital, Maimonides Medical Center, and Cabrini Medical Center, among others.
Mr. Drucker has assembled and developed a team of experienced planners and designers with unique expertise to manage the demanding schedules and budgets of comprehensive health facility programs. Collectively, their work encompasses everything from feasibility studies to master planning, throughout the most challenging projects to facilitate creative solutions for complex programmatic and technical needs. Under Mr. Drucker’s direction, the practice has grown to include a full-service team of professionals that provide advisory, planning, architectural, and interior design services to the New York region and beyond.
