Array Augments Staff with Key Project Management Hires
BEACHWOOD, OH – Array Healthcare Facilities Solutions, a leading national healthcare architecture, interior design, planning and advisory services firm, has strengthened its Midwest project team with two key project management appointments: Leonard Dirk Van Heest, AIA and Rachel Hersh Schwarz, AIA. “We have seen major increases in our team’s capabilities and the services available to our clients”, noted Principal and Array’s Vice President, Midwest Practice, Christopher Trotta, AIA. “To continue our mission of delivering remarkable, business-justified, and strategy-driven facilities solutions to our healthcare clients, it was necessary to introduce added depth to our talented pool of project management.” Leonard joined Array in 2007 as the first of two key senior project management hires. Van Heest, a seasoned architect with extensive healthcare experience, serviced clients throughout Western Pennsylvania for more than two decades. His portfolio includes work for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Mercy Health System, and Butler Memorial Hospital, among others. Since joining Array, Leonard has been associated with the Vision 2010 initiative for Cleveland’s University Hospitals—most notably the replacement facility for Ireland Cancer Center. Rachel brings more than 30 years of project management expertise, including more than ten years of healthcare-specific experience throughout Ohio. Her work includes projects for Cleveland-based MetroHealth, St. Luke’s and Deaconess Hospitals, as well as Good Samaritan Health System in Cincinnati and the Toledo Mental Health Hospital. Rachel has worked with Cleveland’s University Hospitals previously; experience she will leverage during Array’s continued implementation of UH’s major capital investment program. “We are very excited to round-out our team with Rachel and Leonard. Since this office was founded in 2005, we have experienced tremendous growth”, says Trotta. “Their combined expertise will be invaluable as we refocus our efforts on a mature growth strategy for the office and harness the talents of our junior-level staff members.”
